How I left my Ex-husband in the Sea

I can’t even begin to tell you what an AMAZING trip I had to Amansala in Tulum. Although I was gone for a week — and I know my posts were a bit lacking — I feel like I was gone for a month. And, I was “working”! I can only imagine how the other 19 people are feeling today. The new friendships that were made, the food, the workouts, the BEAUTIFUL beach walks every day, the easy relaxed way of life . . . . . things I will take back with me here to Denver and incorporate into my life one way or another.

I awoke naturally every day at 5am and stared through my mosquito netting wondering what the day would bring and what exercises I could do with this diverse group of women (and one man). All were there for different reasons: clarity, escape, resolution, meaning, better health — and I was going to be a part of this experience for these wonderful people (and I say this with a tear). I don’t think any of us would imagine the transformation physically and mentally that we would all experience.

I have so much to share about this trip so I will be giving you little bits over the next few days. Suffice to say, though, that I will be going back to Amansala often, and I really hope you can join me one day. And the bit about my ex? You’ll have to stay tuned . . . .
