Thanksgiving is 2 days away . . . . and if your mom hasn’t assigned you a dish (mine’s corn pudding), why not make and bring a winter salad? I love cooking videos and this one, featuring Mark Bittman, is rather entertaining — I think I may have some sort of odd crush on him. He is featured on the NY Times website.
This salad will be nice and crunchy. And, I love the idea of adding fruit to it — cranberries would be perfect, no? I think this would be a great compliment to all of the heavier food that will be on the table at Thanksgiving.
